Benefits and expected Outcome

Students will showcase their knowledge in the(STEM) field.

One of the main goals of the symposium is to create collaborative efforts of youths seeking solutions to common problems across national boundaries which is partly to end extreme poverty that could stifle global terrorism.  It is our hope that the outcome of the symposium would excite entrepreneurship among our youths and spawn international business cooporation between the people of Africa, Sierra Leone, rich in natural resources, and the rest of the world.

Global cultural interaction.
The conference will create a platform for youths, academics and businesses to network across national boundaries.
Prospective investors will have the chance to meet with local counterparts and /or pursue business opportunities.

Creating relationship and interactions between students and educators in the Diaspora and those in Africa.  Below is a picture of Interns of teachers and administrators from Wales Cathedral, Wales, England at JTR.

 ·         Exchange of ideas in science and technology would improve the number of African skilled workers, encourage investments and technology transfer to the continent, and could serve as an impetus for those in the African diaspora to return and participate in creating sustainable development in Africa.   T

The Sierra Leone Law Court

Sherbro Island

The freed slaves were beaten back by the military might guarding the slave depot on the Island.  The Freed slaves moved down coast and founded a settlement that became Liberia.

Capatives of this  slave castle were greatly desired in North America because of their unique skills in growing rice.  It is the ancestral land of many African Americans including the Gullahs of South Carolina and Georgia.
