Lichfield Arts' Fuse Festival

The free Fuse Festival takes place in Beacon Park, Lichfield in July, with live music, dance, kids activities and much more!

Fuse ’s overall objective is to provide a fun, inclusive and safe community festival with opportunities for audiences and volunteers to engage with quality music and arts. It is put on every year by a dedicated team of volunteers at the charity Lichfield Arts to bring our community together in a fun, safe, inclusive and exciting way.

Over the years Fuse has grown to become the largest free community music and arts festival of its kind in the region. Two main music stages feature performances from local and national acts showcasing many musical genres plus community choirs, special needs groups and dance workshops. An Open Mic tent gives performing opportunities to singer/songwriters from across the Midlands. The Arena is home to a wide range of activities, including storytelling, circus skills, sports activities, workshop sessions, children's attractions, a festival market, dance displays, close-up magic and promotion of local community groups. 

Fuse is very different to a normal ticketed festival in that it is free to enter. This is to ensure no barriers to entry for the community – we want everyone to have the opportunity to come together and celebrate regardless of their financial circumstances. This means donations from those that can afford them are a crucial source of income to help us balance the books. So if you are able, please donate and help ensure we can cover our costs.
