2022 continues to be challenging for this family that has been living with ALS for 6 years.
Our hearts go out to everyone that has suffered over past two years from illness or loss.
It's a tremendously challenging time for families with ALS. Nursing shortages make it extra difficult to find healthcare help and hospitals paying 2-4 times what the agency can pay nurses to help has left Sera with very little help (only a few hours here and there).
Caregivers are stretched to their limits, the expenses for care are beyond what anyone can imagine and many things are not covered by the healthcare system.
